Waterfowl: Excellent waterfowl opportunities in both South and North Dakota. If you cannot get SD waterfowl license you can get ND license over counter at any time. You have to lottery for SD license but sometime you can get over counter if there are leftover licenses.
Archery: Archery license can be purchased over counter in SD and good archery hunting can be had on nearby public grounds with opportunities for trophies.
